Our Masonic Heritage

Preserving the Lights of No. 25 & No. 139

Two Streams, One River

The history of Beaver Ionic Lodge No. 25 is a testament to the enduring spirit of Freemasonry in Winnipeg, formed by the amalgamation of Ionic Lodge No. 25 and Beaver Lodge No. 139.

Ionic Lodge No. 25

As the senior constituent of our union, Ionic Lodge No. 25 provided the charter number that defines our Lodge today. With a legacy rooted in the early days of Manitoba Freemasonry, Ionic has always stood for the highest standards of the Craft.

Beaver Lodge No. 139

Beaver Lodge No. 139 brought a rich tradition of brotherhood and active community involvement. The union of these two lodges ensured that the light of Beaver would continue to burn brightly within the halls of No. 25.

A United Future

Today, the Brethren of Beaver Ionic No. 25 stand as one. We meet at the Masonic Memorial Temple on Corydon Avenue, dedicated to the same principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth that guided our founders in both original lodges.
